Hi, I’m Frank. I started this blog as an outlet to share photos and stories of my overland travels and to inspire people to get out more. Whether you’re just getting started or a seasoned trail veteran, I hope you enjoy seeing the places I go, the gear I use, and the people I meet.

To me, overland travel isn’t about how far you go or how often you get out. It’s about the chance to commune with nature and to connect with people. It’s also not about the gear, or the rig. Let’s not kid ourselves, though — it’s fun to talk about it and try out the latest new gear. But this isn’t a blog where you’ll have to sift through product pitches and marketing spiels to get to the good stuff.
